Hard Row (father /daughter, Kim and Kaila Sinclair) formed 5 years ago enjoy the richness of folk and traditional music. Kaila is a classically trained sing and Kim grew up playing folk and protest songs in the sixties Over the past twenty years they have played together off and on. They have discovered an new blend of their talents as they have built their sound as Hard Row.

They were in the studio this spring recording their first CD as a duo. In the folk tradition they connect the songs of history to tell today’s stories. The songs they explore range from the music of some of the best songwriters of today to songs that have survived through time. Sometimes changing rhythm and often morphing lyrics, their harmonies bring the stories to life and draw the listener in. They pull from their theatre experience to bring humor and good story telling to their performance.
